The group is managed by a tightly-knit management team, led by Mike Gendel, the founding shareholder.
Gendel Advertising is a member of the Association for Communications and Advertising (ACA), and Mike Gendel sits on the Association's Board of Directors.
The agency is also represented on ACA committees such as the Transformation Committee, the ASA Code Revision Committee and the Loerie Awards Committee.
Mike Gendel also represents the ACA on the ASA Tribunal, an industry body tasked with self-regulating advertising disputes between brands in South Africa .
The holding company is a ten-year plus member of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Group has formed associations with complimentary resources in West Africa , and is currently the lead marketing consultant for a mega-scale Nigerian project.
