Mike Gendel studied law at Wits and UNISA; holds Diplomas in Business Administration from Brunel University in the UK and Business Management from the South African Institute of Marketing Management and is currently completing an MBA thesis (West London University).

Mike joined Grey Advertising and Marketing as an Account Executive and was appointed to the board in ‘82 and became Client Services Director in ‘83.

In 1984 Mike bought a partnership in Bridge Advertising (BBDO US was the international partner), in 1987, Mike sold Bridge to Grey and left to start up Schachat Gendel Venture Marketing.

Chris Sherlock is a highly experienced Creative Director and Senior Copy Writer. His creative career spans 25 years, during which he has worked at some of the most creative agencies in South Africa in senior creative management positions.

For a period of six years he worked as a Client Service Director, attending training at Princeton University. He is also the author of four best selling novels. Chris brings to his position a wide range of creative, management, media and strategic expertise that gives him a unique approach in designing creative work that is both arresting and effective.
